Prepositions - grid and advanced use

When we use prepositions

At first, we use them to describe where things are for example in a room, or to give or understand directions in the city.

But then we start seeing them more and more in expressions, and we find ourselves trying to master them as it's difficult to remember them in every sentence. Dammed tiny little words!

More on a advanced level we need to know a bigger range of prepositions, for example when we try to know how to use "ello" (check different "it" forms) and other personal pronouns that we use after preposition.
We have those in sentences like these:

• ¿Me hablas a MÍ?" - are you talking to ME?
• No está contenta con SÍ misma" -she's not happy with HERSELF.

And finally, we use them very frequently after prepositional verbs, like when we say:

• Pienso EN ti a menudo - I think about you often.
• Se parece A su madre - She looks like her mom.
• Me acuerdo DE aquel museo - I remember that museum.

Because prepositions are difficult to define and explain, I made a grid so you can check and memorize them.

  I love you despite our arguments

  You have the changing room in front and inside there is a mirror.

• _________ hablar estaba muy enfadada ____ Rocío
  After talking, I was very angry with Rocío.

• No terminaré _______ las siete pero llegaré a casa _______ las ocho
  I won't finish until 7 but I'll arrive home at around 8.

• ______ la situación, creo que tengo que desafiar __ Lola
  Facing the situation, I think I have to dare Lola.

• Trataba_____convencerme___no decir nada
  She tried to convince me to know say anything.
